The Sligo knee-high boot for women is packed with all the technical features you'd expect from a Dubarry country boot. GORE-TEX lining and Dubarry's signature DryFast-DrySoft™ leather plus a securely bonded sole all creates a waterproof, shock-absorbing, comfortable boot. A full length zip helps foot entry and a leather covered elasticated calf panel streamlines the calf giving an elegant silhouette. Built to withstand the rough and tumble of country life, the Sligo style and fit looks great in a more urban setting too.

How should Sligo boots fit?
Your Sligo Country boot should fit comfortably, and your toe shouldn’t press against the top of the boot while walking or the widest part of the foot shouldn’t be pinched by the boot. These Knee-high boots are designed to fit comfortably but do have a much more fitted calf structure.

If you are in between sizes a footbed will help raise your foot and allow the boot to fit better. If you find the smaller size too small but the bigger size too big then the footbed will raise the foot and take away a quarter of a shoe size. Please also take into consideration that thicker socks are better paired with the Galway’s and there should be a little bit of room between the calf and the boot.


Who’s is this boot ideal for?
Our Sligo Country boots are much more of a fitted boot with an elasticated stretch panel at the back to allow for more calf fitting. The boot also has a zip entry and a waterproof gusset which allows for more room at the point of foot entry, ideal for a higher instep.
